What is Cannacare?

Cannacare is a Washington and Nevada State based Medical Marijuana group. Because state laws and police policies are "incomplete" at best, the director of Cannacare felt that medical marijuana eligible patients from around the state would benefit from having a support group. Cannacare was formed to help educate medical marijuana patients about state laws, their rights, their doctors rights, as well as allow them to discuss benefits and side-effects of medical marijuana use with other patients around the state.

Here is currently what Cannacare offers:

• A wealth of information regarding state and county laws on medical Marijuana
• A place to network with other medical marijuana patients
• Illness specific support groups related to medical marijuana
• Links to a number of studies, reports and other scientific studies
• Information and instruction if you choose to cultivate your own medicine
• Guidance to help avoid police abuse and correct procedure for dealing with law enforcement
• A friendly, laid back environment with a goal to help anyone who suffers from a debilitating disease that can be treated with medical marijuana

What Cannacare DOES NOT offer:

• A place to buy marijuana
• We provide information to potential patients, or their relatives, on how to become a legal medical marijuana patient.  Many of our services are limited to legal patients.
• A place where racism, sexism, bigotry or any other form of discrimination or degradation is not accepted
