Site Rules
Many of you have been members for a lengthy time, however we are always getting new folks signing up, as well as needing a bit of a "refresher" once in a while for ourselves. The rules below have been posted in the Announcements Forum for a couple years now, but it does seem logical we make them prominent enough so that new members will see them also. While I have your attention, I thought I would put this information up about the rules of this forum: Rules of the site: 1.) No one under the age of 18 is allowed in here! 2.) No asking for, or offering to sell weed, illegal drugs or seeds here (as most know this would leave the owners of the forums up for a charge of conspiracy). This includes any correspondence in Private Messages. 3.) No flaming or abusing other members (we all grow differently this doesn't mean one person's way is right and the other is wrong) 4.) Respect for all other users, no insulting or abusive behavior to any member. 5.) No spam or spambotting on the forums. They are there to help us all grow and learn and not a place for spamming. The offering of items for sale here, in any forum, is considered spam. 6.) No degrading or abusive language. Most swear words are allowed, however please show some restraint. We are all adults, and all of us have learned how to speak English without such "colorful metaphors". Many people in the public view this site, and we can at least let the "MMJ ignorant" folks know that we're not a gang of illiterate stoners, but instead are responsible folks that just happen to use a herbal medication. 7.) Repeat! No selling of illegal substances, clones or seeds on this site. Period. No listing of any items for sale, etc. without prior approval of Cannacare staff. 8.) No drama! 9.) DO NOT Private Message site members looking to get (or trade) clones, seeds or medical cannabis. While it may not be "right", Law Enforcement can access the site pretty much at will, and that would include your PM's. Expecting total privacy anywhere on the web is a bad idea. 10.) The general discussion of MMJ Dispensaries is allowed, however, DO NOT post the names, locations, websites etc. about ANY operating dispensary on the site (or via PM). 11) Vendors: If you are the principal, shareholder or employee of a company that sells any products you are welcome to participate, but you must not use this forum as a form of free advertising of any products that you handle. Moreover, you must not use this forum as a platform to downgrade or denigrate any of your competitors’ products. The term Vendor refers to any person who sells a product, or offers a product for sale, or who has their product offered for sale by a third party. The term advertising refers to any form of advertising which includes any links in the text body of a post, and also any links in a users signature, or embedded links in photographs, diagrams etc. that lead to any web site that is a point of sale, for those or other products offered by the user. This would NOT include links to news stories, or commonly used sources of internet business such as gardening stores, etc. You may, however, use a watermark in any photographs, artwork etc to establish your copyright, but the watermark or the actual photograph, artwork, diagram etc must not direct link to a point of sale or website that offers that photograph, art work etc for sale. 12.) Political debate is not allowed on the CannaCare site. If you have political disagreements with a member, discuss them elsewhere. Personal attacks, slanderous comments and comments intended only to inflame a political disagreement are especially discouraged. 13. Only one (1) User ID per member. There may be exceptions made to the above for forum sponsors. Breaking of any of these rules will have you earning an infraction and a possible permanent ban. This is a great site, with great members (ALL OF YOU!) that make it that way. Do yourselves a favor; if you got up on the "wrong side of the bed", don't take it out on the members here because the Site Administrator and Moderators won't tolerate it. If you've got nothing positive to say, then don't say anything. If these rules are not acceptable, then perhaps this is not the site for you. ISO

Thank you for the reminder, ISO. I didn't see the part about the "other firms" but I'll take your word for it. I do appreciate you giving me a second chance.

List of hundreds of sites that welcome political discussion. Please go there if you need to vent or unload and come on back when you want to talk about Medical MJ. It's just common sense. I wouldn't go onto a Duke basketball chat board and start talking about Medical MJ. Not the place. |
