No, they are always on top of things. My authorization expires this month. Sentry called me last week to set an appointment, sent me a notice in the mail and an email verification for the deposit I sent for my appointment.
They are very professional. Call them again. |

I have to say I'm in Boston and will be relocating back to WA State and from time to time Jessica sends me a message asking me how things are moving along and I'm at the Federal Courts mercy and the Judge assigned to my case as this is the process in Federal Court sets dates and both sides must comply and we are at the deposition phase so an ends in sight but I have to say Jessica has been very on top of things even for me once I'm settled and ready and out of many so called medical MJ Patient web sites and facilities Sentry/Cannacare has been thee only one I will attend and support.

Any updates on Eastern Wa clinics?
I know everybody is stretched extremely thin, but I can't think of anything more important than keeping your current patients legal. If no clinics are planned for this area, can Sentry please recommend the second best option for us patients to get renewed? |

I'm in the same boat as Bc on this one.
I am in S.E. Washington and can't make it over the hill to Sentry to get my recomendation. I was told they are working on a Yakima clinic, but need 50 people total to do it. They said everyone seems to make it over the hill since no one is ready all at the same time and no one should really go illegal for someone else. It was suggested making a day trip out of it and attend Hempfest at the same time as getting the recomendation, but I can't even make it over for that. Is there any way to figure out when everyone needs to get recomended or renewed at the same time? |

Having individual patients travel can't be the solution.
It's 261 miles from Spokane to Olympia....one way. In the NE part of our country, 261 miles could be three states away. By comparison: It's the same distance (261 miles) from Chicago to St. Louis. It's only 187 Miles from Boston to New York. And only 111 miles from Los Angeles to San Diego. I can't ride in a car that far with RA. In addition, I lost my father three years ago when he developed a blood clot in his knee and died instantly after a three hour car ride. He was in great health at that time. Last year my brother (another healthy one that cycles 150-200 miles a week) was hospitalized with pulmonary embolisms in his lungs after a seven hour car ride from Spokane to Seattle with a delay at the Pass. Scary stuff that seems to have a genetic component. I hope you can understand between my RA and family history, I can't make that trip but the worst thing of all is the anxiety of not being current after working so hard to be legal and follow the laws. |

Or try carpooling with someone, which is what I'm trying to do to solve my financial issue. The Back doesn't do to well on long drives anymore myself. Makes for a lot of pit stops or load up on pain meds.
I know that Sentry is doing their best to accommodate everyone possible. Last edited by Stonegrinder; July 22nd, 2010 at 07:00 PM. Reason: had another thought |

I understand the frustration that Eastern Washington Sentry patients feel about the lack of Sentry clinics in our areas. We have just started advertising again in the Inlander and the Nickel Nik with the sincere hope of reaching enough current and future patients to schedule a Spokane clinic soon. What can you do to expedite this process? Call and schedule an appointment! Spread the word that Sentry offers the best support network for patients. If you need some Sentry brochures, let me know and I will send you some to pass out to prospective patients. I take pride in assisting SteveS in delivering the best service possible to MMJ patients. Thanks, Jessica.
I had left both a phone message and an e-mail message, getting a return call from neither. However, that is a-okay because I called during Sentry's business hours and spoke to a nice lady (I think it was you) who is sending me a new patient packet. I finally found a doc to transfer all of my records to, so I'm ready to go as soon as I get my packet from Sentry. :-) Cheers. |
