Those are some great looking plants! I was way excited to hear about DMSO from Pepe and didn't even think of combining it with cannabis products till I read this thread. Very good idea! I've wanted to make a canna lotion for a long time now but I think this is a much better idea. Please keep us updated, maybe create a new thread for it too so folks who know DMSO will be sure to read about the combination. Be careful with alcohol for that extract! We don't want you blowing up when you go light a joint or something!

check wikipedia or any other resource on dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). it has an exceptionally high boiling point and becomes a solid (crystallization) at lower than room temps. So blending the two together properly will be tricky... but if done properly should be very effective. Again, research, research, research... best of luck.

also... I've got relatives that have high praise for "Soothanol". Another product that combines DMSO and 8 other naturally occurring "goodies" for (supposedly) amazing healing properties. I haven't tried it... but I've considered it and they have some pretty good literature. I like it especially because it lays out the same way my Pops found out about the stuff... horse jockey applying it to the horses and found that his arthritis was amazingly well relieved. That's when he started looking into it and has been using it ever since, semi-regularly. www.soothanol.com

the "Toxic Lady" was (from my understanding) one of the biggest reasons the stuff never made it out of the racetrack, but this paragraph says it all IMHO...

Worse, however, for the pharmaceutical companies was the fact that no company could acquire an exclusive patent for DMSO, a major consideration when the clinical testing required to win FDA approval for a drug routinely runs into millions of dollars. In addition, says Mr. Bristol, DMSO, with its wide range of attributes, would compete with many drugs these companies already have on the market or in development.

Plants are Doing GREAT.
hit a really nice and unexpected growth spurt
and have found that no matter of pleading, hoping, praying, bargaining, tricks, NOTHING WILL TURN THOSE LITTLE F*ING trichromes amber.
ill get some visual aid up shortly.

7 Weeks into flowering and i have chopped one plant down.

this one had about 10-20% amber, figured i would try one now.

and harvest when the next one hits 25-30% and so on. i don't plan on letting them get more then 45-50% amber, cause i also have to figure in how much will turn amber in that 3-4 week dry and cure stage.

This is my drying area, its a linen closet in the bathroom(AKA, My Garden)
I have a small fan pointing away from all the bud so it is getting an indirect air flow.

plan on trimming off the fan leaves here in a day or so.
letting them hang until the stems snap.
removing the stems and putting the bud into Glass jars.
some mason some large jars with glass on glass lids.
